Whelping Box |
The whelping box slides and snaps in place in seconds. Just put in the whelping material of your choice: whelping mat, newspaper, shredded paper, etc., and your whelping dog is ready to have her puppies. When the puppies are 1-2 weeks old, remove the whelping box and store it under the plastic tray (full size model). |
Floor Grid with Puppy Mat |
The puppy mat has holes small enough to provide comfortable support for the newborn puppy feet. Attach it to the floor grid with zip ties. The puppy mat allows puppy waste to fall through, helping keep away harmful and dangerous bacteria. This feature keeps the young puppies dry and healthier. The puppy mat comes in a roll, and once you remove it, it can be stored in a roll again. |
Removable Plastic Tray |
The removable plastic tray collects the waste of the puppies. You can use pads or newspaper to collect the waste. Just pull out the tray half way and fold the newspaper or pad and throw away. Removing the soiled paper a couple times a day reduces the bad smell in your nursery significantly. This step is easy and very fast. Waste cleaning is reduced by 75%. No need to move puppies around while you replace the newspaper. |
Removable Floor Grid |
The floor grid can be easily removed to attach the puppy mat or to remove it, or to hose it down when needed. The floor grid is of heavy-duty, durable material. |
Solid Walls |
The solid ¼” ABS walls provide you several benefits. They are very easy to wipe down when dirty. The dogs can’t chew them or damage them. If your dog has a problem with diarrhea or vomiting, any messy “accident” stays contained in the kennel. Also, it gives each whelping dog enough privacy not to feel threaten by the other dogs in the nursery, thus they do not show aggression toward each other. It keeps the puppies away from drafts. |

Open-top Design |
The Open-top Design gives you easy access all the way around the kennel to feed, pick up puppies, and pet the dogs. It keeps the nursery environment very personable. |
Open-front Design |
The Open-front Design with no structural bar across the top front allows you to reach all the way to the back of the kennel. It allows you to pull out the floor grid with ease as well as to install and remove the whelping box. |
Mobile |
The kennel wheels make it a snap to move the kennel around or to take it outside to hose it down. It’s light enough for a smaller person to move the kennel around. It’s a breeze to deal with! |
Heating Options |
The Heating attachment is easy to install. You can raise it or lower it to reach the right temperature of comfort for your puppies. There are no cables hanging out. The cable goes through an opening in the back of the kennel. You can also purchase a thermostat, which makes the heat lamp come on or off according to the temperature set by you. |
Feeding Options |
The feeding bowls hold 30 ounces of food. They can be lowered for the puppies or raised for the whelping dog. A water dispenser is also available to provide enough water for the dam and the puppies for a whole day if necessary. |
Kennel Top Options |
The kennel top is a most for dogs that can climb out of the kennel. You can easily push back the top like a window to pet the dogs, to give them food and water, to pick up and put back puppies when you worm them, give them medicine or their vaccines. |
Collapsible for Storage and Mobility |
The kennel can be taken apart just by pulling the door of its separable hinges and loosening 10 wing-nuts. It is then ready to be stored or moved to another location. |
